Psychologist
Andrew works a Clinical Psychologist and has been at CMCAFS since September 2019. Andrew provides psychological assessment, formulation, consultation and therapeutic intervention to address a wide variety of difficulties through direct and indirect work with children and young people and the people who care for them.
Andrew has a broad range of experience with children and adolescents across several cultures. He has worked in many youth settings as well as working in an educational setting in the middle east. The experience of working abroad developed Andrew’s understanding of different cultures and the complexity systemic practices.
Andrew tends to use an integrated approach that often focuses upon attachment and development trauma perspectives. Andrew has been trained in Dyadic Development Psychotherapy (DDP) and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
