Educational Services

High quality, bespoke psychological support for schools and other education settings.

We support schools and education settings (primary, secondary, alternative provision, early years settings and colleges), to provide psychologically responsive care that empowers their whole community to thrive.
We specialise in supporting education staff to address the psychological needs of the children and young people they support, as well as supporting settings to develop whole school/setting approaches aimed at improving wellbeing and behaviour, enhancing development and learning, promoting achievement, and maximising potential for all children and young people.

I have worked over the last 12 months with CMCAFS. Initially, we requested support from the service to provide psychological safety for a project we were developing. The project aims were to build the capacity in our schools in relation to the key issues of trauma and attachment. The project enables our schools to understand, be sensitive to and respond to young people in an Attachment and Trauma informed way.

CMCAFS have supported us with our project design, providing psychological safety, support for carrying out school development plans, psychological formulation for complex cases, supervision of key staff and fundamentally support for the creation and development of the Liverpool HEARTS Framework which is an exciting collaborative piece of work.
