Dr. Andrew Wah
Senior Clinical Psychologist
Andrew has worked at CMCAFS since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2019. He currently works into the Education Service and the Leadership service. Andrew has a passion for supporting the development of Children, Young people and their families and has a special interest in exploring how the systems around us play a significant role. This has led Andrew into working with senior leadership teams in schools and organisations to support the application of psychological responses at a whole system level.
Andrew has a broad range of experience with children and adolescents across several cultures and contexts. He has worked in several youth settings as well as educational and therapeutic settings in the Middle East. The variety in experience has developed Andrew’s understanding and curiosity of different cultures and complexity in systemic influences.
Andrew is HCPC registered and trained in Dyadic Development Psychotherapy (DDP) and Eye-Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
