Partnership with HOPE School, Liverpool
CMCAFS is proud to partner with HOPE School Liverpool, an Ofsted Outstanding primary school for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This inspiring collaboration has focused on embedding Attachment and Trauma Responsive Care at every level of the school community.
Our team worked closely with HOPE School to lead a whole-school consultation, bringing together pupils, families, staff, and governors to reimagine and refine the school’s vision and values. This process helped ensure the school’s ethos truly reflects the voices and needs of its entire community.
In addition, CMCAFS psychologists have provided ongoing leadership support, staff consultation, and bespoke training to strengthen psychologically responsive practice across the setting.
Building on this strong partnership, CMCAFS and HOPE School have joined with Liverpool City Council to establish a city and nationwide learning hub, offering a space for schools across Liverpool and nationally to share best practice and explore how Attachment and Trauma Responsive Care can be implemented to benefit all learners.
