Jessica Sheffield is a Clinical Psychologist who has been working with CMCAFS since 2019. She works in the child and family team, providing direct therapeutic support to families, and working with external fostering and adoption services. Jess strives to have a creative and integrative approach to her work and draws upon her knowledge of attachment and trauma-informed theory and practice.
Jess has been registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical Psychologist since being awarded a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2019. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Autistic Spectrum Conditions (2009) and a BSc in Psychology (2006). She is trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP, 2019). Jess is an informed practitioner in Building Underdeveloped Sensorimotor Systems (BUSS, 2021), working towards her Level 3 Practitioner training.
